Professional Practice in IT Computers and other Equipments.

Question: Discuss about the Professional Practice in IT for Computers and other Equipments. Answer: Introduction Procedure for Staff to Follow in Case of an Emergency: The staff should cut off electricity and should shut down all the computers and other equipments. In UXC, the staff should proceed to the assembly area by following the exit sign. The staff should call for the security and ask for the help. The staff should try to manage the situation if it is safe to do. The alarm should be raised by activating a 'Break Glass' alarm (Kane et al., 2015). The staff should use the first-aid box to treat the injured employees. The staff should stay away the shelves and the building at the time of earth quack. Procedure for Staff to Follow in Identifying Hazards: The staff appointed for the supervision should check for the wiring of the company so that electrical hazards can avoid. The staff should plug off the devices at the time of leaving The staff should check for fire hazards, such as rags stored near electrical equipment, or portable heaters placed near furniture (Gleason-Comstock et al., 2015). At least one smoke alarm should be installed on each level of this company. There should be at least one "A-B-C type" fire extinguisher, and check the expiry date. Heavy objects such as desktop should be placed on lower shelves. Procedure for Staff to Follow in Resolving Complaints/Issues Between its own Employees: Every employee should know about the cultural background of each other at the workplace and should not talk about the religion. They should be polite with each other and should learn the manners to behave. In UXC, the staff should be honest and there should be clear communication. The staff should find the common areas of the agreement such as they should agree on the problem and agree on the procedure to follow (Moore, 2014). Procedure to Resolve an Internal Grievance Between its own Employees: If there is the complaint about the harassment then the HR manager of UXC should hire an outside lawyer or accountant right away. If there is a complaint about the discrimination, in case of promotion, the management should select for the deserving candidate. The grievance procedure should be used by the employees to submit the complaints to the management in a timely manner. There should be a statement complaints submitted should be in writing and should be written to the management of the company, The complaint should be written by two people at least, is the one deny for the complaint then second one should be still an option (Quintilii, 2014). The conflict management should be implemented within work place by the managers. Process to apply for employment in UXC: First step is to update the resume. Apply it to our website based on the qualification. Wait for the interview confirmation. Acknowledge the mail being sent by the company. Prepare for the interview (Nagy et al., 2015). Behavioral Norms and their Importance: Behavioral norm Reason Hand shaking the other employees and the junior employees. To build the positive relations. Avoid Gossiping Talking about the some who is absent is not good for the relationship among employees. No phone call during meeting It is disrespectful to the other employees and it is extremely annoying. Not showing genuine interest To keep the eye contact and t make an effective communication. Responsible Person for Identifying Potential workplace Hazards in UXC: There may be various types of risk in the company; there should be lost of man and machinery at the time of the working in UXC. The supervisor of UXC who controls the health and safety department of the company is responsible for identifying the risk in the workplace of UXC. The supervisor should report all the possible hazards to avoid the hazards Hoyos Zimolong, 2014). The supervisor should identify all the incidents which may happen in the organizations. Difference Between Likelihood and Severity: The likelihood is the probability or the possibility of the risk. It is used to identify the risk at the time of risk assessment and the severity is used to identify the execution error of software. Likelihood can come in bug butt severity cannot come in bugs. Tools to Identify the Risk: The supervisor should take an action to solve the risk as soon as possible. The old computers and other equipment should replace with the new one. Importance to Keep a Record of Risk Assessment and Incident Report Forms: Risk assessment and incident report are necessary for identifying the possible risk in UXC so that the precaution can be used before the incident happen. It is important for controlling any risk and makes the danger free working environment (Hoyos Zimolong, 2014). Procedures and Instructions: During the placement, a candidate understands the concept and designing of the OO (object oriented) using OOPS (object oriented programming structure). First, the candidate should design the view layer classes. Design the macro and micro level user interface to identify the view layer objects using the encapsulation and the data abstraction process using drag and drop tools in .net framework 3.0. Then draw the class models. Design the access layer Then implement the program (Jackson, 2016). The candidate understands the drag and drop tools from the WordPad to the Excel sheet. Start Excel. First, the candidate should click a cell insheet 1 to activate the worksheet. Then, start WordPad. Click start to the WordPad and then clickRun.TypeWordPadand press ENTER. Alternatively, clickStart, point toAll Programs, point toAccessories, and then clickWordPad. TypeHello World in WordPad and then select the text. Press and hold the CTRL key. Drag the selected text into a cell in your Excel worksheet. The mouse pointer changes to a rectangle behind a plus sign (+) to indicate that the worksheet can accept the data (Nagy et al., 2015). Learning in Action: Star stands for situation, task, activity and result (Kot, 2014). While dragging the text from WordPad to Excel sheets, then there is a situation to describe the procedure to drag the text (Hello world). The task is to drag the Hello world from WordPad to Excel sheet. The activity is that what is done as click the excel sheet and click the cell in sheet 1and then click on Microsoft WordPad, click the hello World and select and hold the CTRL key. Then drag the selected text to the cell of sheet 1 in Excel sheet, all this procedure is the activity that is done to drag the text. The result is the Hello World in the Excel sheet 1.
